HITN with the second season of ‘Centro Medico’ launches contest

According to HITN channel data, it reaches more than 44 million households in the United States. Now undertakes the second season of ‘Centro Medico’ from September 17th. You will be able to enjoy a television marathon of the first season of the program, which is part of the block “Vida y Salud” of HITN, on September 15th.

“Since launching, our health and wellness block has been very popular among our audience, demonstrating the need to design programming focused on informing the public about health issues that are of particular concern and interest to the Spanish-speaking population in the U.S.”, affirmed Guillermo Sierra, General Director of Programming and Digital Services of the channel.

‘Centro Medico’ is a docudrama with recreations of medical cases in a hospital environment, accompanied by simple explanations and easy to understand medical issues relevant to the audience.

The first season was a success, reaching a visualization increase of more than 154%, according to Nielsen’s measurements, positioning the show among the five largest audiences of the channel.

“Centro Medico offers a unique approach to medical issues,” said Erika Vogt-Lowell, Director of Programming and Acquisitions at HITN. “The great acceptance and increase in ratings that the program has experienced demonstrates the preference of Spanish speakers. The program has an attractive format that informs and entertains while also awakening viewers’ curiosity about health and wellness issues for Hispanic families.”

From Saturday, September 15, HITN will present a 32-hour marathon of the first season. During the television marathon clues will be offered for the audience to participate and win a trip for two to Madrid to meet the protagonists and the production team of the successful program.
