Angela Colla, director of International Business at Globo, announced a restructuring in the area she leads, with the appointments of Gabriel Bonelli as new Head of International Sales and Rodrigo Nascimento as leader for Europe, the Middle East and Africa
The changes started in November of last year with the departure of Raphael Correa Netto from the international sales area to contribute to the integration strategy between linear and digital operations, replacing Daniela Mignani, who left the company.
The announcement of this restructuring shows that important changes will continue in the team of Globo’s International Business area. Angela Colla, who has been in charge since December 2022, leads a team that seeks new strategic alliances in content and business models.
Gabriel Bonelli has eight years of experience in the company. He was part of the sports channels and, since 2020, he served as manager of Product and Performance Modeling. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading the sales and business planning team.
Rodrigo Nascimento is now head of international business for the Europe, Middle East and African territories, based in Portugal, his mission is to open conversations and strengthen existing relationships to develop business and partnerships and expand the presence of products and stories. The International Advertising area continues under his direction.
Added to both appointments is that of Marcela Parise, who has worked in the International Business area since 2020 as head of International Marketing and who is now also responsible for the scope of Customer Success.
In this new position, she will continue to lead Globo’s marketing actions in the international market, and will also be responsible for creating solutions aimed at customer satisfaction.
Finally, this year Pablo Ghiglione had also been announced as the new head of International Co-production to lead the expansion of international co-production projects, such as the agreement with the Disney Group for the co-production of films that was recently announced.
With more than 12 years of experience in content distribution and negotiation, Ghiglione led important agreements between Globo and platforms such as HBO Max and Paramount+, and also with all the main channels and communication groups in Latin America.
