That’s two pre-sales and 34 hours of primetime drama. Disney has secured the pay TV and SVOD rights to Dead Still, The Swarm (excluding Bulgaria), Queens of Mystery, The Puzzle Lady and Concordia, with the latter two titles being pre-sale.
For the first time these two major studios ZDF and Walt Disney Company are partnering for Bulgaria and the Balkans with an agreement that includes two pre-sales and 34 hours of primetime drama.
Mirela Nastase, Director of ZDF Studios Drama, said: “We are delighted that Disney will be the home of these important titles, giving audiences in the Balkans and Bulgaria the opportunity to enjoy fantastic chilling, thrilling dramas and light-hearted crime novels.”

TITLES OF THE AGREEMENT
The mystery drama The Puzzle Lady (3 x 90′), a ZDF Studios co-production with December Films and Factual Fiction, is based on Parnell Hall’s best-selling book series adapted for television by Dominique Moloney (Land Girls, Father Brown , Shakespeare & Hathaway). Featuring the eccentric Cora Felton, a crossword puzzle columnist with a penchant for solving crimes, the series is full of colorful characters, intrigue, and clever plot twists.

Concordia (6 x 45′), a dramatic surveillance thriller set in an experimental utopian community, is a new production from Frank Doelger (Game of Thrones, The Swarm, John Adams, Rome) and Intaglio Films. The joint venture of Beta Film and ZDF Studios.
Filmed in English and directed by Barbara Eder (The Swarm, Barbarians, Cop Stories), co-production partners include ZDF, MBC, France Télévisions and Hulu Japan. Other titles include The Swarm (8 x 45′), Dead Still (6 x 50′), Acorn TV drama Queens of Mystery (3 x 90′ or 6 x 45′), the latter of which has garnered multiple global sales and rave reviews. with its premiere in the United States.
