The Gala will be hosted by the distinguished journalist Lourdes Stephen, who co-hosts Telemundo`s acclaimed newsmagazine “Al Rojo Vivo”.

Liliam Hernández, CEO of Universal Cinergia Dubbing announced today the latest updates of the highly anticipated Turkish Drama Gala. As previously reported, the company will be hosting a Gala event in January 2024 to celebrate the success of Turkish content in Latin America and worldwide. The iconic event will take place in Miami Beach, and will gather executives from Latin America, Turkey, Spain, USA and US Hispanic, including broadcasters, distributors, channels, content producers, writers, actors from the successful productions, press and industry colleagues. The event will be part of the official calendar of Content Americas 2024, which will kick off the day after the gala dinner in Miami. It will have the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Miami, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce, and will be sponsored by Turkish Airlines, among other sponsors.

With a successful career in Hispanic TV, the award-winning journalist Lourdes Stephen co-hosts Telemundo’s acclaimed afternoon news program “Al Rojo Vivo” bringing viewers from coast to coast an hour dedicated to current affairs, entertainment, technology, and lifestyle content. Lourdes She journalistic work has been synonymous with authenticity, truthfulness, and professionalism since her arrival in Univision, where for more than 15 years she covered a variety of topics interviewing world leaders, artists, and many public figures.

Musical Attraction: Murat Evgin

An established Turkish composer & singer with a 25-year-old career, Murat has been the composer of of several successful Turkish TV series (Elif, Omer-Sueños Robados, Querida Madre, Broken Destiny, among others), including Back Streets which holds the record for being the longest running Turkish TV series with 18 seasons. In 2017 Murat Evgin became the 1st Turkish composer on Netflix US with the factual series Myths & Monsters. His music is heard in more than 40 countries and his Turkish songs are memorized by Latin American kids who watch the Turkish series.
