This celebration of the Ibero-American animation industry has announced the parallel activities for its eighth edition, which will be held from May 8th to 10th in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, with the main sponsorship of the Tenerife Island Council through Tenerife Tourism Corporation.
The Co-Production and Business Forum, the Futures Lab, the International Meeting of Television Channels, and the roundtable “Women in Ibero-American Animation” are some of the activities that will be held within the framework of these Awards, created to promote the development, co-production, and distribution of animation works in the Ibero-American region.

In its eighth edition, the Co-Production and Business Forum will bring together nearly 250 professionals from approximately 30 countries. It will host more than 1,300 meetings scheduled to promote the co-production, development, and global distribution of animation works and projects. Among the 120 companies registered to date are production studios, distributors, sales agents, television networks, and streaming platforms.
This event is made possible thanks to the sponsorship of the Tenerife Island Council through Tenerife Tourism Corporation and the Tenerife Film Commission. The event is also sponsored by ICEX, Animation From Spain, and PROEXCA.

To promote emerging talents in Ibero-American animation worldwide, the finalist proposals in the Short Film and School Short Film categories will be available for streaming from May 5 to 18.
