FOX, partner co-financier of the series launched internationally in July, while at the same time premiered at the FX pay channel in the United States and Latin America in the 10 pm schedule.
It also really helped the overall global marketing campaign launched by the network managing to capture more than 4.5 million viewers in markets such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
‘The Bridge’ is a thriller that explores the tensions on the border between the U.S. and Mexico. When a U.S. judge known for her anti-immigrant stance is found dead on the bridge linking El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, ‘Sonya Cruz’ (Kruger), Detective of the Police Department El Paso, must work with its Mexican counterpart the Chihuahua state police, ‘Marco Ruiz’ (Bichir) in order to catch a serial murderer who operates on both sides of the border.
The series has surprised with its ratings to the entertainment global brands FOX and FX outside the United States.

As with the first season of ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘The Bridge’ follows the worldwide simultaneous premiere pioneering model.
