Rio2C en Brasil a new format of Rio Content Market

Narcos

The Rio Content Market Conference inaugurated its eight edition with name and format changes. Now it is Rio2C to combine creativity and conferences, with an emphasis on international co-productions, distribution and export potential for local content. This new delivery of the meeting that takes place in the city of Rio de Janeiro in the Cidade Das Artes complex annually, also became a meeting place for companies in the music, technology and innovation sector.

On April 4, the meeting began with a presentation of the world-award-winning series “Handmaid’s Tales”, by the executive producers of the series.

Another attractive panel was “Encomenda Drama: Gaumont”, in which Ezequiel Olzanski, VP Latin America TV Distribution and Co-production of the group spoke about the evolution of the dramatic series market. He announced that Gaumont will co-produce with Dynamo Producciones a fourth season of “Narcos” for Netflix. He pointed out that Gaumont is looking to enter new markets in Latin America and Brazil, where it perceives a great international potential.

The event seeks to consolidate as the most important in Latin America.
