During the past NATPE Guillermo Sierra, General Director of digital services and television at HITN said to TVMASthat they are announcing their new EDYE platform (Educa y entretiene/Educate and Entertain.) “Our slogan for many years is that educating is also fun and our first platform dedicated entirely to the preschool niche will be available through the different cable operators throughout the region.”
“We are acquiring content from all the best international producers because Edye is a platform that not only entertains children but also helps parents to have a much closer communication model with them”, he explained and said that the platform comes accompanied by educational guides that the channel puts in its system so that parents can consult and help children to take advantage of the content in a truly educational way and that can help them to have a better life.
HITN is a non-profit company based in New York, a channel that is in more than 44 million homes in the United States and has the mission of helping the Hispanic community to have a better quality of life. “We at HITN have 40 years of service and our channel has always focused on presenting top-level educational content.”
Sierra concluded by highlighting that “we are the absolute leader in nature in the Hispanic market with recognized brands such as National Geographic and Discovery among others.”
