CINCOMAS proud of the success of MEDIASET in Spain in the month of February

This week MEDIASET of Spain announced its leadership in the month of February, with 28.0%, adding 0.5 points with respect to January and surpassing ATRESMEDIA by 0.3 points with 27.7%.

The communiqué of CINCOMAS, a channel owned by MEDIASET, says that growth was recorded in prime time and imposed on its competitor in daytime (28.6% vs. 27.6%). It affirms that it is the communication group that attracts the most young audience: a 32.1% share in the viewers from 13 to 24 years old.

Telecinco (14.6%) led February for the seventh consecutive year becoming the network that grows more than last year (+1.7 points) exceedingAntena 3 by 1.5 points (13.1%). In addition, it scores the victory of the day time (14.7%), the morning (14.9%), the afternoon (14.9%) and the late night (21.5%).

According to the directors, the network is the leader 5 of 7 nights of the week, with records higher than 22% on Thursday night with ‘GH DÚO .’

In its weekly calculation (Monday-Sunday), Informativos Telecinco 21:00 hours maintains its leadership for 77 months, surpassing Antena 3 Noticias 2 in 1 point.

In this way, the contents of CINCOMAS in Spain led the month of February. The prime time was also anchored with “GH DÚO” (27.2% and 2,839,000) as the most competitive program of the month, improving 4.3 points of share with respect to January.  It triples in its strip to Antenna 3 and remains stable in all targets with records above 30% in young people from 13 to 24 years and 25-34 years.

‘Sabado Deluxe’ is leader for ninth month in its time frame with more than 8 points on its competitor (8.5% and 977,000).

‘Volverte a Ver’ (13.7% and 1,788,000) marks the most watched month in its history. In the delivery of February 22 marks record number of viewers (1,874,000).

‘En el Punto de Mira’ (3.9% and 515,000) achieved its best performance among the public of 25-34 years with a 6.2% share.

‘Chester’ (6.7% and 1,264,000) grows among viewers aged 35-54 (8.6%

DOMINATING DAY TIME

‘El Programa de Ana Rosa’ was the most competitive magazine with a growth of 2.7 points compared to February of last year and climbed by more than 5 points compared to ‘Espejo público’ of its competitor.

‘Mujeres y Hombres y Viceversa’ grew by 0.4 points compared to January, hitting its competition with more than 10 points among young people aged 13-24
