Sebastian Vibes is the senior sales director of VIS for Europe, the Middle East and Africa


The appointment was announced last April 4 by Viacom International Studios Americas and Europe. Vibes is a Senior Director of content sales for the VIS office in Madrid.

Will be responsible for the expansion of formats, as well as co-productions and strategic alliances with emphasis on the European, Asian, and African markets.

The recognized executive will also focus on growth production in Spain with his own IP and will report to Guillermo Borensztein, Vice President of content sales and co-productions for VIS Americas; and Laura Abril, Senior Vice President of multi-brand editorial for Iberia, and responsible for VIS Western and Southern Europe, as well as in the Middle East and Africa. The shared sales team will also be in charge of selling original content of both territories.

“In an industry where content and business dynamics are constantly evolving, we focus on taking the VIS Americas business to a second phase. For this, Europe is a key territory, and we are pleased that Sebastian has accepted the challenge. His experience, relationships and business vision, will contribute from Madrid to grow production volume, so that our content reach more territories, and mainly that our IP is positioned aggressively outside the Americas,” affirmed Guillermo Borensztein.

Sebastián Vibes is a professional in the media and entertainment industry with a trajectory of more than 20 years. He has developed his career in Latin America and Europe, in different positions linked to international business in companies such as Televisa Internacional, RGB and Telefe, among others. He has extensive knowledge in the creation of associations, joint ventures, co-productions, structuring and financing of projects, and strategic collaboration initiatives of diverse nature.
