The International Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television and Telemundo, chose Argentina to host the semi-final round in the Telenovela category gathering the most outstanding directors, producers, writers and screenwriters as honorary judges.

The judgement edition was held from Buenos Aires, last Thursday, August 8 and was attended by distinguished representatives of the South American television industry such as Alejandro Ciancio, Alejandro Maci, Carolina Aguirre, Cristina Banegas, Daniel Barone, Daniel De Felippo, Eduardo Sacheri, Enrique Estévanez, Esther Feldman, Guillermo Salmerón, Javier Daulte, Jessica Valls, Julieta Steinberg, Leandro Calderone, Olga Dager, Marcela Citterio, Marcela Guerty, Marcello Coltro, Marcelo Savignone, Marcos Osorio Vidal, Mariano Ardanaz, Marta Betoldi and Virginia Berberian, among others.
In addition, Telemundo Internacional held a great honorary closing gala to honor the category and outstanding trajectory of industry representatives, as well as acclaimed artists, actors and actresses such as Abel Ayala, Arturo Puig, Claudia Fontán, Celeste Cid, César Bordón, Guillermina Valdes, Dalma Maradona, Gastón Vietto, Mariana Genesio Peña, Miriam Lanzoni, Nicolás Riera, Romina Gaetani, Gastón Soffritti, Matias Mayer, Belén Chavanne, Sabrina Garciarena, Christian Sancho, Flor de la V, Fabián Medina, Matilda Blanco and many more stars, who paraded on the red carpet of Telemundo Internacional.

The outstanding Argentine hosts Barbie Simons, Javier Ponzone, and the renowned Chilean host Nataly Chilet were chosen to receive the fabulous guests on the red carpet, and with live broadcast through the digital platforms of E! Online Latino. The celebration closed with a musical show by acclaimed musician Axel, and singer actress Natalie Pérez, as grand musical guests.
