Mediaset Italia celebrates its 10 years anniversary at Mipcom in Cannes


It’s an important date for Mediaset Italia that celebrates its 10-year anniversary.

Mediaset Italia is the Italian Television Channel that broadcasts the best programming of the main Mediaset channels abroad: Canale 5, Italia1, Rete4 and La5 from general entertainment channel – and TGCOM24, an all-news channel – bringing the Italian culture to the 60million of Italians living abroad. Mediaset Italia has deals with the major satellite, IPTV, cable and OTT platforms operating in every corner of the world. 

According to Mediaset Distribution Head of Sales Giorgio Giovetti:” We are very happy to share with our clients in Cannes at Mipcom, this important goal. We have been working hard with the aim to spread worldwide our culture and beauties through our tv shows. Our offer is wide from entertainment to factual and documentaries plus the 24 hours news, current affairs and sports, including the best drama series produced originally in house shortly after the Italian broadcast.

Mediaset Italia was launched ten years ago by the Group and is available through all the major operators in dozens of countries around the world, from East to West, like France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Israel, Australia, and in the US where in 2017 an important deal was signed with AT&T reaching over 17 million Italian-Americans residents: “with the aim to offer an authentic taste of home from live sporting events to entertainment and fiction – said Giovetti – like daily stripped show Striscia la Notizia, quiz show like Caduta Libera or prime time entertainment show like C’è posta per te or Amici hosted by Maria De Filippi. Mediaset Italia will celebrate in Cannes at Mipcom with a special reunion at the stand #R7 -F7 on Monday, October 14.
