The new season of “ACAPULCO SHORE” ranks number one


On television, social networks and streaming as the most controversial reality show in Latin America

MTV Latin America and Paramount + announced the debut of the eighth season of the controversial reality show. According to data from the audience consultancy Techedge, the program ranked # 1 on pay TV in the main Latin American markets, including performance gains in Mexico (4%), Colombia (26%) and Argentina (110%) in the youth demos 18-34, 18-24 and 12-17 years of age.

On the opening day alone, the reality show registered 68.4 million Total Minutes Consumed in all windows combined. Additionally, it achieves high demand at the regional level on the Paramount + streaming platform.

The official hashtag #MTVAcaShore managed to be the # 1 trending topic in Mexico. Content related to the reality show on MTV’s digital platforms, today registers more than 261.5 million video views.

This season will feature live musical performances and special guests including Matheus Novinho from Brazil and Charlotte Caniggia from Argentina, among others to be revealed soon.
