It is a 22-page book in tribute to the life of the popular Texan singer, in digital and printed format and can be found on various platforms such as Amazon

“For years I had always wanted to do a Selena comic and finally found the right writer and artist,” said Darren G. Davis, editor of TidalWave Productions, a company that incorporated the singer’s comic book into its popular “Female Force” series focused on women making an impact around the world.

Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was the victim of a senseless murder at age 23. Often called the “Mexican Madonna” or the “Queen of Tejano”, Selena is arguably one of the most brilliant artists of the 1980s and 1990s. Her popularity has risen recently, through television series and platforms. This comic explores her humble origins and her rise to stardom and is part of a series that is focused on women making a global impact.

In previous titles the company has profiled Dolly Parton, Kamala Harris, Tina Fey, Nancy Reagan, Michelle Obama, Barbara Streisand, Ayn Rand, Cher, Gloria Steinem and now it’s up to the legendary Texan singer.
