The Enjoy Hotel in Punta del Este, Uruguay, will once again open its doors to the audiovisual industry on March 23 and 24

ISOS Media Group rejuvenates the event so that TV and telephone operators, programmers, OTT’s, channels, technology companies, video game developers, producers and those who are part of the world of entertainment have the meeting at Punta Show + Entertainment.

The Enjoy Hotel in Punta del Este, Uruguay, will once again open its doors to the audiovisual industry on March 23 and 24. With due health care, the event offers business opportunities for those who were already part of this world and for others who are emerging.

“The entertainment industry has not stopped growing in content production and new ways of accessing it. During the Covid-19 pandemic, streamers have emerged, influencers, artists, producers and directors that we have met through social networks and live streaming platforms such as Twitch; capturing a very large audience of children, youth and adults who follow them unconditionally” explain the organizers.

On the other hand, they add that electronic sports, also known as eSports, is a space where several actors converge that complement each other. “The growing number of players – currently almost over 2.7 billion active – demonstrates that esports presents great business opportunities for the audiovisual industry. Nor is the number of spectators negligible, where eSports, with 63 million followers, are the third most watched sports category in the United States”.

The big media and international networks are no strangers to this new reality and understand that they must reinvent themselves and generate other types of content and channels to reach that new audience. The brands are not alien either and for this reason they study the way to reach the fans who are, mainly, on the Internet and social networks.

“This is the reason why there is great enthusiasm from industry players to participate in this renowned and now renewed event.”
