HOLA TV! bids farewell to Queen Elizabeth II with special programming over the weekend

Special reports

The only international channel dedicated to royalty has moved its programming offer due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. And all weekend, they are covering the life and most important events of the monarch.

Atresmedia Internacional and the magazine ¡Hola! Have been broadcasting allusive information, which has also been extended to this Saturday with specials on the queen and the British royal family.

HOLA TV! is doing an incredible job with specials dedicated to key moments of the monarch, such as her wedding with the Duke of Edinburgh, in November 1947, and her coronation, in June 1953. In addition, the channel has made a tribute with some programs starring by the royal family who, from now on, will be very relevant to the future of the crown, such as their first-born and recently proclaimed Carlos III and the queen consort, Camila; the crown prince, Guillermo, and his wife, Kate, new Princes of Wales, who now assume the Duchy of Cornwall, and the Dukes of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, who moved to the United Kingdom from California, where they reside.

With the death of the queen, the calendar of events for the next few days was defined: the new king’s tour of the United Kingdom; the ceremonial transfer of the coffin to Buckingham Palace and then to Westminster Abbey, where it will remain for several days until the state funeral. Finally, Elizabeth II will rest at Windsor Castle, along with her father, George VI.

The royal channel will follow the most outstanding events generated by the death of the queen, also in its current events and will collect the reactions in its programs, La Hora ¡Hola! and Crowns and Palaces.
