SHARK TANK MEXICO: NEGOCIANDO CON TIBURONES ON CANAL SONY

Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America revealed audience figures for the first eight episodes of the season premiere of the series with an increase in the popularity of Canal in Mexico. According to IBOPE Media, the average tuning of the first eight episodes of the Mexican adaptation of the Sony Pictures Television format, almost quadrupled the average audience (Fridays, 10 pm.) In the quoted segment of men and women 18-49 years with medium-high purchasing power.

The Mexican sharks are five of the largest and most recognized entrepreneurs in this country, each one willing to contribute their capital and experience in the business world. They are: Ana Victoria García, founder of Victoria 147, an accelerator of business and networking; Arturo Elias Ayub, Director of Strategic Alliances and Content of America Movil, Telmex Foundation Director and Director of Uno TV; Carlos Bremer, CEO and Chairman of Value Grupo Financiero; Jorge Vergara, founder of Grupo Omnilife and owner of Club Deportivo Guadalajara; and Rodrigo Herrera Aspra, founder, CEO and Chairman of Genomma Lab. 

It is an adaptation of the “Dragons’ Den”, a Japanese series that has been adapted in several countries, including Canada, Germany and the United States. The US version of the format won an Emmy this year as Outstanding Program with Structure Reality Type. In Mexico it is a co-production of Sony Pictures Television, SPT Networks and Claro Video. The program is broadcast on Fridays at 10 pm. on Canal Sony with episodes available all Wednesdays after its premiere through Claro Video.
