He then discovers the intricate inner workings of the hospital, which is experiencing shortages caused by an overwhelmed public health system, and corruption plots threatening it. Gonzalo recruits a group of distinguished professionals led by Regina Villaseñor (Livia Brito), a beautiful and brilliant surgeon who struggles between her career and love life and David Paredes (Daniel Arenas), a dedicated doctor who will do anything to save his patients.
