VIS, a division of ViacomCBS, announces the start of filming for Los Enviados, the new series produced with renowned director and screenwriter Juan José Campanella, winner of the Oscar® award, and his production company 100 Bares.
The series is directed by Campanella and starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Luis Gerardo Mendez and the special participation of Irene Azuela.

Los Enviados is an action thriller that tells the mission of two Vatican priests who travel to Mexico to verify alleged miraculous healings of another cleric. But as soon as they arrive in the Mexican city, they receive the news that the priest they are looking for has disappeared. Their lives and their faith are taken to the limit when they discover a psychiatric colony located on the outskirts of town that seems to hide more than one secret.
This new production is born within the framework of the First Look agreement signed between the VIS and Juan José Campanella, one of the most important and prestigious filmmakers in the world with a vast career in various series and films. The series will premiere on Paramount +, ViacomCBS ‘new streaming service, in Latin America in late 2021.
