As previously announced, the Turkish Drama Gala, scheduled for January 22, 2024 at The Temple House in Miami Beach, has been created to celebrate the remarkable success of Turkish content on screens across Latin America and around the world. The event is part of the official calendar of Content Americas 2024, which will take place at the Hilton Miami Downtown from Jan 23 thru 25.

Event highlights: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the inaugural Turkish telenovela broadcast in Latin America, in addition to recognizing all the Turkish content companies, the occasion will also celebrate the achievements of two-forward thinking and visionary executives, Patricio Hernandez and Juan Ignacio Vicente, who were the pioneers in introducing the first Turkish telenovela “1001 Nights” to Latin America. Their groundbreaking efforts paved the path for the subsequent introduction of numerous Turkish telenovelas in the region, which achieved widespread distribution and successful broadcasting.

The iconic Gala will gather executives from Türkiye, Latin America, USA and US Hispanic, including

distributors, acquisitions executives, content producers, writers, actors from the successful productions, press and industry colleagues. It will have the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkiye in Miami, and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
