Hemisphere Media Group announced the launch of its free television channels on the Vix platform with advertising: WAPA+, Todocine and Todo Drama.
Exclusively on ViX, WAPA+ is designed to offer high-quality content from Puerto Rico’s number one television network, WAPA TV, to Puerto Ricans residing in the continental US. “The channel has maintained high ratings for 14 consecutive years and produces more than 70 hours per week of programming including news, interviews, and entertainment. As the second largest Hispanic community in the US, Puerto Ricans have been underserved by other content providers. Through WAPA+ they will now have access to their favorite stars and trusted voices, with original news, interview and entertainment content, as well as selected programming from WAPA’s vast video library,” the statement explains.
Additionally, the extensive portfolio of FAST channels, which includes emerging brands such as blockbusters and current critically acclaimed Spanish-language films from ‘Todocine’ and ‘Todo Drama’ programming with drama series from Turkey, South Korea and Brazil, among others, it will deliver the powerful content that Hispanic viewers prefer to the streaming space.

The platform (ViX) offers more than 75 thousand hours of on-demand content and more than 100 streaming channels, all in Spanish. The application offers two levels of access, one free with ads and another premium with subscription, in the US, Mexico and most Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, on all major mobile platforms, connected TV devices and on the internet at vix.com
