EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA, organize from October 1 to 4 in Madrid. A unique meeting of platforms, television networks, creatives, producers, financiers, distributors and buyers, who will meet around four programming areas: Conferences and Keynotes, Iberscreenings, Ibero-American Audiovisual Market (MAI) and PRO Activities.

The event continues training actions with the Showrunners Workshop, the Artificial Intelligence in Film and Series Postproduction, the Financial Tools Workshop and the Content Strategy Workshop: From development to sale, whose calls open on May 22.

Marché du Film has hosted the official presentation of the fourth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, held on the Terrace of the Fantastic Pavilion of MIF in Cannes, France.

Samuel Castro, co-director of Iberseries & Platino Industria, and Adriana Castillo, general coordinator, appreciate the collaboration of authorities and organizations present, as well as the extensive assistance of professionals in the sector.

EGEDA, Fundación Secuoya, with FIPCA and Madrid City Council, ICEX Spain Exportation and Investment and the sponsorship of Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid, Iberseries & Platino Industria is a key meeting point for those involved in the industry worldwide for content in Spanish and Portuguese.

GOALS

Provide visibility to Ibero-American feature films and series, promote business and talent, international co-production and financing.

Xiomara García, general coordinator of Film Madrid, and Nacho Carballo, advisor of Audiovisual Industries of the Community of Madrid, affirm that “this initiative is a bridge between Latin America and Europe through Spain in the audiovisual field. We are 600 million Spanish speakers, we have a common language and the stories we tell are universal and close to both sides of the Atlantic.”

Conferences and Keynotes. Topics on financing models, production, distribution and consumption habits. Future trends, in a sector in continuous transformation.

Viewings and premieres of series and feature films from Spanish and Latin American platforms and production companies

The Ibero-American Audiovisual Market (MAI). It offers a space for the purchase and sale of completed productions, presentation of new content and the premiere of audiovisual works. This year Brazil, Argentina and Colombia are confirmed, and other countries will be confirmed soon.
