The Tlnovelas Channel consolidates its position as the audience leader in pay TV

According to data from Nielsen IBOPE Mexico, with the broadcast of the final chapter of “Destilando Amor” a story that frames the tequila industry, last March 29, the channel was ranked as the most viewed signal with a record of nearly 7 million persons.

The Mexican telenovela starring Angélica Rivera and Eduardo Yáñez, Sergio Sendel, Chantal Andere, Martha Julia and Julio Camejo. Produced by Nicandro Díaz González for Televisa in 2007, is a remake of the 1994 Colombian telenovela, by  Colombian creator, Fernando Gaitan “Café con Aroma de Mujer”.

In digital, the interactivity of its more than 2.5 million followers on Facebook, reached 100 thousand views in clips of the telenovela. This way, the channel launched the interactive campaign “Choose your telenovela on Tlnovelas” to know what they want to see on screen.

Through its web tlnovelas.mx, the channel presented four telenovelas for voting and to choose their preferred story. The first ones were: Dos Mujeres un CaminoMi Pecado, Duelo de Pasiones and Sortilegio. More than half a million voted for “Mi Pecado,” starring Maite Perroni and Eugenio Siller. Chosen with 57% of votes is the first time this story, is transmitted by the Tlnovelas signal.

Luis Luisillo Miguel, Director of the channel says that “Our focus is to get closer to our audiences, through campaigns like these that reinforce our proposal on screen and it has exceeded our expectations. Thanks to this campaign, the networks signal increased significantly in the number of followers, highlighting the YouTube channel of the signal, which was ranked third in entertainment, with more video reproductions from all over Mexico.”

After its recent image ands style renewal, the channel re-transmits the most prominent telenovelas with coverage in Mexico, Latin America, United States and Europe.
