Olympusat, an American company based in West Palm Beach, Florida, recently formalized the appointment of Javier Figueras as Senior Vice President of International Distribution. The renowned Latin American pay television executive will be responsible for leading the company’s core businesses in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the US.
Figueras will focus on developing and implementing strategies that allow the company’s income to increase with the distribution of pay TV services, free-to-air channels, OTT platforms, FAST channels and content licenses in the territories of operation. Figueras will oversee the company’s relationships with its affiliates and distributors, including strategic and commercial partnerships; He will also negotiate and promote the company’s services with cable operators and connected TV players.
