The seminar will present the sector’s challenges, based on a business analysis, emphasizing the urgent need to reinvent itself in the face of growing competition and the advancement of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).

The seminar, led by Carlos Martinez Cagnazzo (Manager of the Technical Area at LACNIC): “Strategies for Scaling Networks in an Internet without IPv4,” will address technical and management strategies to enable small ISPs in Latin America to continue growing despite the depletion of IPv4 space. Alternatives such as IPv6, CGNAT, and the efficient use of available resources will be explored, in addition to tools and policies offered by LACNIC.
